Catherine Norcia, MScPT, BSc

Registered Physiotherapist

Pelvic Floor and Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist

Catherine is a registered physiotherapist since 2012 from Montreal, Quebec. She has always been passionate about physiotherapy and followed in her father’s footsteps to become a physiotherapist.

Catherine obtained a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelors degree in Physiology, which has helped her better understand how the body functions as a whole. She has been practicing for almost 5 years now in both the public and private setting with focuses on manual therapy, tailored exercise programs with a focus on patient education. She concentrates on the client’s main complaint, but also works hard to find the driver of their pain. Her approach is hands on thereby correcting the dysfunction while allowing clients to maintain the gains achieved with an individualized exercise program. Throughout the client’s treatment plan Catherine continues to assess and re-assess and modify treatments and exercises as warranted.

After starting her career in physiotherapy, Catherine noticed a demand for vestibular rehabilitation. She began her training in 2014 and has since has been helping clients manage their vertigo assisting them to get back on their feet.

In 2015, Catherine followed her passion to further her training and skills by specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She now helps women, men and children of all ages rehabilitate and take better care of their pelvic health.

Catherine now lives in Windsor with her fiancé Adrian. When she’s not working, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, doing yoga, zumba and pilates, all while contracting her pelvic floor.
